Did  you  have  a  "Godly"  dad
working  diligently  each  day ~
teaching  you  respect  &  honor
in all  you  do  and   say?

Was  your  mom's  heart  very  tender
did   she  live  "The  Golden  Rule"  ~
did  you see  her  teardrops  falling
that  first  day  you  went  to  school?

Did  they  kneel  at  your  bedside
nights  'fore  you  fell  asleep   ~
whisper, "Dear,   Heavenly  Father
his  soul,  we  pray ~  you'll  keep?"

And  'round  the  dinner  table
were  your  favorites  often  spread  ~
hands &  hearts  joined  in  unity
as  "Grace"  was  humbly  said ?

Was  your  life  filled  with  security
as  you  grew  from  boy  to   youth  ~
were  you  taught  grave  consequences
if  you  failed  to  speak  the  Truth?

OR  were  your  parents  atheistic
teaching  "SELF"  alone  is   god  ~
Evolution   birthed  our  species
"The Big  Bang" received   their  "NOD"?

God's  name  was  just  a  "by~word"
if  ever  it  was  spoken  ~
humanistic  code  of  values
"Rules  were  made  to  be  broken"?

Since  God  was  not  an  "option"
then  prayer  was  outlawed,  too  ~
king  "I"  upon  his   throne
"To  thine  own  self  be  true"!

Enjoying  freedoms  writ  in  blood
king  "SELF"  wears well  his  crown  ~
"Separation  of  Church  from  state"
"UNDER  GOD"  ~  a  smirk ~  a  frown !

Think  you  God  cares more for  your
suit,   than   for  your  mortal  soul ?  ~
NO ~ the  blood  of  Jesus  testifies
"I  died  to  make  YOU  whole " !

"I  stand  at  your  heart's  door
My Spirit  pleads   with  you  ~
so  oft'  you  have  resisted
cursed  and  reviled  me,  too "!

"My  son,  I'll  not  stop  knocking
for   there   is   ETERNITY  ~
a  Hell  to  shun ~ HEAVEN  to  gain
"UNDER  GOD"~ what will your answer  be?
