What if He'd
chosen not one stripe to bear,
for our
sicknesses, griefs and pain;
and, there'd
been no tender Prince of Peace,
to love and
restore us again?

Can you tell
me, dear ones, to whom
we'd now go,
had Jesus refused the Cross;
If He'd said,
"Not your will ~ but mine be done",
this whole wide
world would still be lost.

What if there'd
been no empty tomb,
No angels
proclaiming, "He has risen;
"Jesus Christ
is ALIVE forevermore",
Friends, how
would our sins be forgiven?

So many "what
ifs" we could ponder,
Praise God ~
these shall never be;
Thank You, our
precious Saviour, those
"What ifs" were
nailed to that ole' rugged tree !
