God's Scales tell the story
"just balance" loves HE . . .
is my walk with Him close
as I want it to be ~

Do I spend enough time
with my Father so dear . . .
praising and thanking Him
for holding me near ~

Through struggles & trials
times of heartache & pain . . .
when HE gives me courage
to face LIFE again ~

Something to think about
that often I ponder . . .
is my "Life~Scale" balanced
oh ~ sometimes I wonder ~

If I spend too much time
pursuing some selfish desire . . .
then question "Where are YOU"
in the midst of the fire ~

When He put upon my heart
someone for whom to pray . . .
was I much too busy
did I just walk away ~

Too much time spent
on trivialities ~ less in God's Word . . .
"The Scale" loses its balance
while I seek the absurd ~

Then wonder whose fault
until I hear Father say . . .
" Let's balance "THE SCALE,
while it's called "TODAY" !
