I love to see a lighthouse,
beside a cliff~lined sea . . .
For always it reminds
that JESUS watches over me ~

I think of storm~toss'd vessels
guided safely to the shore . . .
Amidst the angry waves
threatening their lives & store ~

I see disciples in the boat
so frightened death was on its way . . .
"Peace, be still", were Jesus' words
And the storm had to obey ~

I love to see a lighthouse
statuesque with its light aglow . . .
Somehow it brings such security
and speaks PEACE . . . Yes, this I know ~

For there shall be disturbances
and storms, and tears and pain . . .
But The Lighthouse always reminds me
JESUS makes things right again ~

And then my mind recalls
those times, 'twas me felt so alone . . .
So far from The Ark of Safety,
Thank God The LIGHTHOUSE, shone ~
