Caught in the maze
of destruction . . . self~will
on rampage again ~
suff'ring losses, chasing the wind
struggling to conquer the pain ~

Masks hide the tears
of her broken heart . . .
brave smile... facade she wears ~
shadow~boxing with haunting memories
dancing with demons & fears ~

Searching the faces of strangers
longing for friends she
thought true . . .
Joy such a faint, sweet melody
of grand Symphony she once knew ~

"Where is He now", She whispers
the One she left far behind . . .
while grasping for elusive
Straws of Strength...groping
for once cherish'd peace of mind ~

Faintly the call of The Shepherd
wafts lovingly on the wind . . .
visions of Jesus color the night
Sounds of Surrender
reach out to Him ~

His Shepherd's Heart beats
with expectancy ...His lost lamb
now suddenly near ~
No matter the Rocks of Rebellion
that clutter'd her pathway unclear ~

Love forms mercy~drops of Forgiveness
that flow from her crown to
her toes . . .
gratitude cannot be uttered
The Shepherd instinctively knows ~

Wrapped in the warmth
of The Shepherd's arms
forgotten pain of the past . . .
cleansed by The Blood of The Lamb of God
reclaim'd & restor'd at last !
