A tiny heart stopped beating
a mother's agony . . .
"The Precious Gift" ne'er to
draw breath
nor mother's eyes to see ~

No tender arms of mother
will hold "The Precious Gift" so
fair . . .
count it's tiny toes & fingers
assuring they're all there ~

A mother's heart is broken
she'll shed a million tears . .
.
remembering "The Precious Gift"
for years ~ and years ~ and
years ~

Her thoughts will be a prison
an oft'~heard, quivering voice .
. .
"OH, WHY DID I BELIEVE THEM
WHO CALL THEMSELVES 'PRO~CHOICE'?
~

Believe all those who told me
there'd be no price to pay . . .
OH, why did THEIR LIES persaude
me
"THIS IS THE ONLY WAY" ~

"Don't worry, now ~ "it" has no
soul
why, its body's bearly there . .
.
you'll be better off without
"it"
babes DO require much care" ~

"STOP!" I should have loudly
screamed
my mother~heart grieves still .
. .
OH ~ GOD, this torment never
leaves
I GUESS IT NEVER WILL ~

"Please whisper gentle words of
love
kiss my fair one, Lord, for me"
. . .
Jesus hears her same prayer
every
night and answers tenderly !!!
