A mountain stands before my face
A bulk of solid stone ...
Its height & weight too massive
to be moved by me alone ~

Looms there dark and menacing
like an angry, ugly giant ...
stalking his prey relentlessly
by his nature so cruel and defiant ~

I think back of other mountains
that threatened me just this way ...
I hear that still small voice again
and remember why mountains can't stay ~

"Your FAITH in me will move mountains"
my Jesus speaks so tenderly ...
No matter how great the problem
In my NAME it has to flee ~

"You belong to The Mountain~Mover
and my NAME is your authority ...
Tell that mountain "BE THOU REMOVED
be cast into the sea" ~

Courage is swelling within me
and I know that mountain can't stand ...
'Cause my FAITH is grounded in JESUS
I know HE is holding my hand ~

HE knows every problem I'm facing
FAITH in HIM is the golden key ...
that unlocks the door to my courage
HIS STRENGTH is sufficient for me.
