We've shared so many years,
of being mothers & friends;
advice, recipes, prayers galore,
shopping, ballgames ~ trends.

Homework, swimming lessons,
plays, luncheons, team-mothers, more;
ups and downs ~ joys & Sorrows,
ahhhhhh, it's never been a bore.

Skating parties, sleep-overs, birthdays,
vacations just fill'd with fun;
Astroworld was always a thrill,
the shows, the rides, the sun:-)

Now we're sharing grands and greats,
each of them so unique;
their preciousness fills our hearts,
encouraging goals that they seek.

Sharing our deepest secrets,
each confidence we have kept;
had our share of moans & groans
When overwhelm'd we've wept.

I wouldn't trade a single moment,
of these years being mothers & friends;
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, my precious Pat,
praying you a blessing that never ends!
