Stores are decorated
snowmen~santas~blinking lights . . .
Shoppers rushing here & there
children aglow with all the sights ~

Almost without noticing
I found myself rushing, too . . .
So instead I bowed my head and said
Oh, Jesus, Christmas is really Y O U ~

Let this be A PRECIOUS~MEMORIES CHRISTMAS
where YOU are the center of it all . . .
An old~fashioned, heart~treasured Christmas
thinking back about the animal's stall ~

Mary and Joseph and the manger
IMMANUEL'S sweet Nativity . . .
Earth receiving her glorious King
oh, Lord, rejoicing in warm memory ~

Of shepherds guarding their sheep by night
with angels announcing your birth . . .
Glory to God in the highest,
good will to men~peace on earth ~

Let us, Lord, be as The Magi
freely laying gifts at your feet . . .

sharing YOU with each one we greet ~

Let the gifts we give last forever
the kind that no store can supply . . .
FAITH ~ HOPE ~ JOY ~ LOVE
Lamb of God upon YOU we rely ~
