those valiant and brave;

our freedoms to retain;

no matter deprivations

the costs nor the pain.



Marching to battle

The "Blue" 'gainst The "Gray";

Freedom from slavery,

The American way!



Bloodied and ragged

South Gone With the Wind;

Ole Glory still waving

beginning to end.



O say can we see

with memory's eye;

Freedom is not free

the cost is SO HIGH!



Comrades in arms

as taps sound Memorial Day;

LEST WE FORGET
