Mother, when I was born
you nursed me, you loved me,
You kissed away my tears.

When I started to crawl
you watched me and played with me.
And kissed away my tears.

When I started to walk and I would fall
you would catch me and hold me,
and kiss away my tears.

When I went to school, the kids laughed
because my speech was not plain,
You hugged me to take away the pain.
And kissed away my tears.

When I got married and things went wrong
you were there to help me to be strong.
When I had my kids and I didn't know what
to do, I knew I could always call on you,
You kissed away my tears.

Now I am 64 and you are 82
I pray God will let me take care of you,
And kiss away your tears.

This page is dedicated to my
precious angelsister, Lulu Ann.
Lulu Ann is a loving and dedicated
daughter to the mother for whom she
wrote this poem.

She is a well~published poet, not only
in print, but MANY of her poems are
read over a radio station in Youngstown
(where Lulu Ann resides) by
Tom Gilmartin and Elizabeth Repko.

Lulu Ann makes the statement
"I have never won anything with my poems".
BUT, I beg to disagree with her.
I believe Lulu Ann's poems have won
the hearts of everyone who reads them
and SHE has won our hearts, too!

"I call them simple poems by
a simple person" . . . is Lulu Ann's
comment about her poetry. I say,
THANK GOD for simple people . . .
PRAISE our Father for
Lulu Ann Bernardich !!!

I love you, my precious angelsister:-)
and ask our Father to continue
breathing upon your heart and your
pen!

This page is dedicated to you with
deep love and respect.
