seeking to destroy ...
brave soldiers following orders
wise strategies employ ~

Battle~ready troops
on the march again ...
facing down the enemy
victory to gain ~

Placard~carrying protesters
screaming their dissent ...
finger~pointing, lashing out
at our president ~

Must they have forgotten
someone paid the price ...
for the freedoms they enjoy
at such great sacrifice ~

'Stead of cruel epithets
much better it would be ...
to spend a lil' time in prayer
down on bended knee ~

Father's ear is open
ask and He will hear ...
pray for those in peril
that angels hover near ~

Use breath to intercede
for loved ones left behind ...
give comfort & encouragement
pray for peace of mind ~

Build a Hedge of Love
with prayers 'round troops today ...
And thank God for your freedom
lest it slip away !
