I view The Cross
with spiritual, not human, earthly eyes . . .
knowing not half You paid for me
Redemption to realize ~

For earthly human eyes can't see
the Crown of Thorns you wore . . .
nor can they view the cruel stripes
Your precious body bore ~

And human eyes can't bear to view
those nail prints in hands & feet . . .
the rusty spear driven in Your side
OH . . . Jesus, my Lord, so sweet ~

KNOWING that you did it ALL
to MAKE A WAY FOR ME . . .
NO, mine nor any human's eyes
could scarcely bear to see ~

But with the supernatural eyes
You purchased on The Cross . . .
with crystal clarity, dear Lord,
we behold THE GAIN ~ NOT LOSS ~

And supernatural ears that hear
HE IS NOT HERE . . . HE'S RISEN . . .
we KNOW that RESURRECTION POWER
YOU LIVE ~ WE ARE FORGIVEN !!!

HALLELUYAH ~ JESUS IS RISEN ~
