Our precious land of liberty

a year has now slipped by ~~

since that dark day of infamy

wrought terror from the sky ~~~

Crumbling stately towers

crushing dreams and lives ~~

you changed only the landscape

our SPIRIT still survives ~~~

Brave citizens worked tirelessly

through anguish ~ tears and pain ~~

Undauntingly removing

this enemy's wretched stain ~~~

Who think themselves superior

a LIE from pits of HELL ~~

You only proved "In God We Trust"

is still ALIVE AND WELL ~~~

Grand Lady of the Harbor

reminds us day by day ~~

it takes more than a coward's blow

to conquer the SPIRIT of U S of A ~~~

No weapon formed against us

shall prosper, our God proclaims ~~

HE is our mighty FORTRESS

HIS name above ALL names ~~~

America ~ Home of the Brave

God's Grace, on you, is shed ~~

And by His Mercy shall remain

our enemy's greatest dread ~~~

Brightly shine Land of the FREE

long wave Red, White and Blue ~~

Our hearts are joined in UNITY

We  are  so  grateful  to  God  for
the  American  Spirit!   Grateful  also,  are
we,  for  the  many  who have  labored  to
remove  the blight  of  destruction  and
restore  the  beauty  of  New York City
and  The  Pentagon.

We  are  grateful  to  President  George W. Bush
for  his  courage  and  perseverance  in
battling  terrorism,  in  the  face of  much
opposition from  some  here  and  in  other
countries.   God  continue  to  strengthen
you,  President  Bush,  is  our  prayer.

We  continue  to  pray  for  those  families
who  lost  loved ones  in  this  tragedy,
asking  our   Lord  to  undergird  you
with  HIS  strength  and  bring  comfort
to  your  hearts.

May  God  keep  you  near  His  heart,
