Picture a stable in Bethlehem
Virgin Mary, a manger with straw . . .
angels announcing "Good will to man"
the shepherds and Joseph in awe ~

See with your mind's eye, The carpenter's Son,
a different drumbeat He heard . . .
growing from craftsman to Fisher of Men,
obeying His Father's WORD ~

Reaching & teaching the multitudes
the halt ~ the blind ~ the lame . . .
fulfilling The Law & The Prophets
by power of His mighty name ~

Stirring His followers in Word & Deed,
enraging the "religious and "vain" . . .
His Doctrine Divine~ "GOD IS LOVE"
gentle touch erasing all pain ~

See three crosses upon a hilltop
two criminals with Jesus between . . .
the hatred, the curses, the mockeries,
accusations, the cruelties so mean ~

Capture this vision, spikes furiously driven
into hands & feet, spear~pierced side . . .
list' to His plea, ' Father, forgive them'
as He gave up the Ghost and died ~

Let your mind view His mother's tears
disciple's broken hearts undisguised . . .
laying Him into a borrowed tomb
knowing not if He would arise ~

Envision The King of all Glory
triumphant, arisen from the grave . . .
Rejoice His blood washes all sin away
